Caden turns 2!

Hey hey, it's my birthday!

This is what happens when he gets really hungry

Caden turned 2 yesterday, 4/16. We had already had a combo birthday party for both boys but still celebrated each of their birthdays separately too. Caden still has a scab on his forehead because he keeps picking it so it's taking a long time to heal. He's finally talking more and can say a lot of words. He's also trying to repeat us more. I'm sure he'll be talking in full sentences before we know it! We have his 2 year check up on Thursday. I'm guessing 30 lbs and 35 inches, we'll see...

Playing at the park

Today we took the boys to Three Creeks Park. We took a nice long walk (boys in the stroller) and then played at the playground. They were tired boys tonight!

Korean food

Caden the ladies man!
We went to a Japanese/Korean restaurant on Saturday with some other families. It was soooo good. Adam had bulgogi and I had bimbibop. Caden loved the bimbibop too. He kept asking for more. Both boys also liked trying to use chopsticks....they still need a bit of practice!

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a flying Quinn...

The boys love to take the cushions off the couch in the living room and jump, jump, jump!

Caden loved seeing the bunnies at our church Easter egg hunt

Caden picked up 1 egg, opened it, sat down & ate the candy. One piece of candy & he was done!
Quinn got quite a few eggs
Mama & her boys
All ready for the church egg hunt
The order of these pictures are not in order. On Saturday 4/7 we went to our church's Easter egg hunt. They had bunnies, games, a huge blow up slide, firetrucks there to "tour" and of course eggs filled with candy. Both boys had a good time.
On Easter Sunday we went to our church and then to Lynchburg for the afternoon. The boys had another egg hunt there. So, we've had plenty of candy around here! Quinn was not too thrilled about having to wear his fancy clothes but a little bribe and he was fine. We normally don't get dressed up for church and the boys almost always just wear jeans & a t-shirt so this was pretty fancy for them. Caden didn't mind though.
Hope everyone had a great Easter!

Easter bunny

The Easter bunny came to Quinn's preschool today to visit. Caden was not shy, as usual, and Quinn was, also as usual. Quinn said he was afraid because he thought the bunny would talk. Both boys were quite excited to receive an egg from the Easter bunny, especially since there was candy inside.
