He's babbling more than ever & will hold his palms up like he's asking a question. Words he's saying are still mama, dada, dog, uh-oh & the new word is wow.
He wants us to read to him a lot but only 2 specific books. He loves his baby animals book & his Ohio State 101 book. He will crawl over to the stack & bring one of these books to us. So far he's never picked out a different book...it's always the animal or the OSU book.
He has figured out that the oven door opens & there are cookie sheets & other things to play with in there. So, that's become a new fun thing for him to do.
We're working on blowing kisses...he's done it a few times now.
We have finally moved on from most of his 6 mo. clothing. The 6 mo. pants still fit in the waist but the length is the problem. So, he's on to 9 mo. clothes which most of the jeans I've had to take in the waist & they are too long. I can't wait for spring & summer so he can wear shorts!
I weighed him on our scale & according to it he's now 17.6. Last time I weighed him on it & last time he was at the doctor he weighed 16.8. We go back for his 1 year appt. on 3/10 so I'm hoping by then he's gained a few more pounds. He doesn't look it in pictures but he's tiny.
Here are some pics from the past few weeks.
Rock-n-roll baby in his Led Zepplin shirt. He knows how cute he is!
This has become a new favorite pic of mine...he's holding/smashing a lid up to his face.
