The drive was about an hour. When we pulled in some of the older kids came to the door & were very excited to see us. We walked in and waited for the caregivers to bring out the babies. When they were walking up w/ Quinn I recognized him. He doesn't look much different than his referral picture. I only cried for a few minutes! His caregiver walked up to me & handed him right to me. He did not fuss, he was very content w/ me. He was the same when Adam held him for the first time. We got to spend about 2 hours w/ him. He fell asleep in my arms...very sweet. At one point they did take him from me to try to feed him but he was still sleeping & would not eat. They laid him down & tried to wake him. That's the only time we heard him fuss. We got him to smile & even laugh.
Ninh is going to call us tomorrow around 3:00 to let us know if our G&R will be tomorrow or Thursday. If tomorrow we'll have the G&R and then fly back to Hanoi tomorrow night. We will pick him up at the orphanage, change him into the outfit we brought & then head to the G&R.

I saw Quinn's pics for the first time at work this AM-it's a good thing it was too early for clients as there was a tear rolling down my cheek. Everyone agrees that he is adorable, I can't wait to meet him and spoil him while I hear all about everything from you guys in person. What a gorgeous little baby boy. Hurry home and get little Quinn acclimated...he has so many people that can't wait to welcome him to his new family. Congratulations and thank you for sharing all the details with us...it's an amazing experience you two are living.
